On a blustery, cool summers afternoon, roses from all over the world visited Garbally. They were hosted by the Carlton Shearwater hotel and a visit to Irelands best appointed college was of course a must.
The style, beauty and poise on show was stunning. Many locals thought the Galway rose in her red outfit stole the show. However, the calmness, intelligence and nobility with which the Carlow Rose conducted herself was the real talking point.
She was of course delighted to meet another Carlovian of a similar disposition. The event was a great success and we look forward to a similar morale boost this summer.
Carlow Rose delighted me meet one of the locals!
